Hi Alyice.

Thank you for reading the post and taking the time to comment!

As you rightly point out, it's a shame that so many "clients" undervalue professional writers so much. Unfortunately, the proliferation of "$5 an article" writing sites that are around today have meant that too many people go for the low cost approach. Yet, as you say, it only hurts the client in the long run - make the right decision in the first place (even if it is more expensive than you had budgeted for) and you'll reap the rewards down the line.

I love that--QUALITY DOESN'T COME CHEAP--it's something I am always trying to educate new writers on. So many times newbies want to earn a living and they'll settle for slave labor deals just to feel like they are succeeding in the world of freelance. The problem is that they cannot write quality articles that way and they can't hone their skills that way. Also, it hurts the clients in the long run. I had a client once have me write new articles to replace articles that were purchased through slave labor. He didn't realize that you get what you pay for and the original articles were actually hurting his business. The new articles, he gladly told me later, really made a difference with his clients and his business. Yay! Quality does count.
