I had to giggle here. At one point last year, I ran across somone offering PLR and thought, "Private Label Rights, what's that?" Then I thought of all the wahms out there looking for cheap and how I could make a bundle on that. But then my conscious got the better of me and I realized that it wouldn't be right to take money for PLRs because I, too, believe in the power of UNIQUE content. I don't think having the same article appear online, under various bylines, is healthy or productive for any business model. I actually think it causes more harm in the long run. Now, buying one-time rights by the same author and having it appear on a handful of websites, all under the same byline, that's a different story. But then again, that should be reserved for publications, not businesses. Business clients need to stand out from the crowd and they can only do that by showing that they offer something others don't or can't.
